SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Nuneaton, CV1 Weekly Pay: £460 - £500 Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only) Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm Start Date: Trials within 2 weeks Do you consider yourself adaptable and passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Reception and Year 2 at a welcoming primary school in Nuneaton. This role involves providing consistent support for children with SEN with varying needs, working towards EHCP targets, and helping pupils develop socially, emotionally, and academically. The school is looking for someone who can nurture independence and tailor support to suit the individual needs of each child. What You'll Be Doing: Supporting pupils in Reception and Year 2 with SEN Helping children meet EHCP targets through personalised strategies Working 1:1 and in small groups to build confidence and engagement Using knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum to aid learning Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development Building strong relationships with teachers, SENCO, and parentsThe Ideal Candidate: Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a school setting Knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum Patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable Confident supporting children with varying SEN needs Experience with EHCP implementation and target-setting is desirable Strong teamwork and communication skillsWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
