Audit and Accounts Manager Opportunity - Central London
A leading accountancy practice in Central London is seeking a qualified accountant with audit experience to join their team as an Audit and Accounts Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering audit and assurance engagements across various sectors. This role involves working closely with senior managers and partners to maintain and grow client accounts.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have:

A recognized accounting qualification with several years post-qualification experience, including managerial experience within an accountancy practice.

Up-to-date technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards, UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs.

Proven experience managing and delivering audits for SME clients with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*
Strong client management skills, capable of managing expectations while ensuring audit quality and compliance.
*
Experience across a broad range of client sectors, with knowledge of corporation tax and preferably trusts and charities.
*
Competency in conducting audit file reviews and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, alongside familiarity with audit and accounting software such as CCH, Audit Automation, Cortax, Inflo, SAP, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is beneficial.

Ability to manage pressure and tight deadlines with flexibility and professionalism.
