My client, a market leading manufacturer is seeking to enhance its business team with the appointment of a Facilities Engineer to progress and develop their site for further improvement & implementation.
Role Description
1. Energy champion for site, responsible for maintaining measures, identifying, and implementing savings.
2. Lead facilities HSE adherence
3. Identify and project manage facilities improvement projects through to successful completion.
4. Annual service contracts – experience in all aspects of contractor management and the ability to prioritise and understand the impact of decisions made is key.
5. Assist with CMMS
6. Process planning – to define which processes need improving
7. Capital expenditure justification
8. Review of tooling materials and recommendations for new ones
9. Organising, performing and documenting trials for new machines and materials
10. Migration of tooling and work databases to the ERP system
11. Generating and updating of KPIs and reports
Skills and Qualifications
12. Completed relevant qualification – Engineering / Electrical Qualification
13. NEBOSH qualification – Desirable
14. Fully conversant with H&S rules, regulations and best practices.
15. Fully conversant with environmental regulations.
16. Knowledge of electrical installations and working knowledge of engineering drawings
