Overview
Following a review of the environment and re-structure of In-Patient Services we have an opportunity to recruit a part time (16 hours per week) Band 8A Ligature Minimisation Lead for Prospect Park Hospital, to work directly with our ISS and Prospect Health partners, and the In-Patient clinical Teams to reduce the potential harm to patients due to environmental ligature risks.

Responsibilities
* Lead the ligature minimisation process across Berkshire Healthcare.
* Leading on audit processes and working with teams to develop operational and technical solutions.
* Collaborate with numerous stakeholders including CQC, NHSE, Clinicians, Compliance & Risk Teams, Estates and Facilities Teams (both PFI and Trust teams) and Divisional Leadership team for all aspects of ligature minimisation.
* Facilitate the development of the ISS Team in the area of harm minimisation and environment ligature risks.

Requirements (Must haves)
* Registered Healthcare Professional (e.g. RMN, S/W OT)
* Previous experience of working within Acute Mental Health In-Patient settings
* Evidence of ongoing relevant professional development and self-improvement to support patient experience
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to use these both on the ward and in other internal/external forums and situations
* Previous experience of Teaching or training and working across other professional groups
