We have an exciting opportunity for a Biodiversity Officer to join our Development Planning Policy Team based in either Lochgilphead, Helensburgh or Oban. Remote/ Hybrid options will also be considered for this post, although some presence in the office as well as site visits across Argyll and Bute area will be required.
We are looking for a Biodiversity Officer to join our Development Planning Policy Team. You will be responsible for the Biodiversity Action Plan and Monitoring Report, provide ecological advice to the Council, including advising on planning applications, carrying out ecological surveys, and assist with development plan policy, including a review of Local Nature Conservation Sites, SEA and Appropriate Assessments.
