About the Role
We are expanding our education provision by opening a new school in Frodsham this summer. The school will be set in a beautiful rural location, offering outdoor learning and core academic subjects. It will support 40 children with complex needs arising from autism, behavioral, and learning difficulties, helping them thrive, learn new skills, grow in confidence, and make friends. Our dedicated staff will provide first-class support, working in partnership with education, health, care, and therapy teams, and maintaining strong relationships with parents, carers, and funders. Our approach ensures every student reaches their optimum level of achievement.
* Helping young people with their learning.
* Supporting pupils to make progress against their EHCP targets.
* Safeguarding and protecting our pupils.
* Raising attendance, attainment, and achievement.
* Supporting pupils in developing learning and life skills.
Qualifications and Professional Development (Desirable)
* Level 2 or Level 3 in Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
Skills and Abilities (Essential)
* Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to adapt learning for each pupil.
* Well organized and self-motivated.
* Proficient in IT as a work tool.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with teams and agencies.
* Ability to work collaboratively.
* Knowledge of current Disability/SEN theory and practice, particularly related to Autism.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection frameworks.
* Awareness of relevant legal and scrutiny frameworks.
* Inclusive approaches to improve attendance, attainment, and achievement.
