Job Description
We are seeking a Credit Controller to manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Dealing with customer queries and developing relationships with customers.
2. Allocating payments and updating ledgers.
3. Opening and closing customer accounts.
4. Ensuring customers pay according to terms.
5. Liaising with sales representatives and other departments to resolve queries.
6. Handling customer complaints, obtaining information, and offering solutions where possible.
7. Releasing pro-forma orders following payment of accounts.
8. Producing monthly reports on unpaid invoices.
9. Performing reconciliations.
Key Skills
* Previous experience in credit control.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good IT skills, including MS Office packages.
* Ability to build rapport with customers.
* Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
* Ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload.
