Rate of Pay: $27.52 per hour


Job Description


What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

* Being a team player in assisting the Room Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
* Offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests and responding timely to any special requests
* Organize and maintain inventory
* Respond timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items ie: cribs, cots, extra towels etc.
* Collect dirty linen, garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants’ carts and closets
* Follow departmental policies and procedures
* Report necessary maintenance items
* Follow all safety and sanitation policies
* Other duties as assigned

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

* Constant standing and walking throughout shift
* Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs
* Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
* Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Qualifications


Your experience and skills include:

* Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
* Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
