GBP50,000 (Salary increases to GBP56,000 with training plan)

Our client is a leading food processing and packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality, which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for a Multi:Skilled Shift Engineer, electrically biased to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Provide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production and packaging machinery
* Carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance and project work
* Working on conveyors, robotics, high:speed food production lines, packaging machinery
* Mechanical : gearboxes, bearings, shafts, drives, pneumatics, pumps, valves
* Electrical : control panels, motors, sensors, contactors, relays
* PLC : electrical fault finding
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Ideally be a multi:skilled maintenance engineer : electrically biased
* Flexible to work call out rota on some Sunday day times : paid retainer and enhanced wage rate
* PLC : electrical fault finding
* Have worked in some form of manufacturing environment
* NVQ Level 3 engineering or higher
* Ideally have completed a time:served:apprenticeship
* 18th Edition beneficial
* Previously worked on high:speed production and packaging machinery
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostics experience
* Knowledge of BRC or HACCP would be beneficial
