About the role
This role supports the efficient handling of customer orders and enquiries, from quotation and order processing through to delivery. You will liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide pricing, availability, and technical information, while maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. The position also involves proactive customer contact and supporting continuous improvement of processes to deliver a high standard of customer service.
As a Sales Support Administrator, you'll be responsible for:
1. Processing and managing purchase orders through to delivery – Including, but not limited to, ordering goods from suppliers, liaising with customers regarding delivery dates, access issues, requirements etc., booking appropriate transport, resolving faulty or damaged goods reports, sourcing technical information for customers, arranging for plates to be cut via a 3rd party, arranging for goods to be delivered directly from head office to site, creating pro forma invoices.
2. Creating quotations for current and potential customers
3. Dealing with telephone and email requests from our network of customers – mainly installers and merchants
4. Advising customers of spare parts numbers for their boilers
5. Advising customers price and stock availability
6. Maintaining customer data on company CRM system
7. Continually improving processes and standardising our proposition for our customers
8. Making outbound calls to existing and potential customers to discuss potential orders.
9. Any other tasks relevant to the role
To be successful in the role, you should:
10. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Possess previous experience in sales support or customer service.
12. Be resilient, adaptable, with attention to details.
13. Learn quickly and understand technical product information related to heating and cooling systems to support cross- and up-selling.
14. Have good command of computer / MS Office.
15. Collaborate effectively and support the objectives of the external sales team.
16. Work independently, take initiative, and manage your own workload efficiently.
17. Speak fluent English.
