Key Account Manager - 4PL
Join WR Logistics as a key account manager for our 4PL technology‑driven logistics business in the Midlands. As a natural relationship‑builder with a strong commercial mindset, you will take ownership of strategic accounts, drive growth, and shape long‑term, high‑value customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and strengthen relationships with senior decision‑makers in assigned 4PL accounts.
* Develop and deliver Key Account Plans that drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and manage portfolio performance and sales pipeline.
* Lead customer reviews, addressing challenges and implementing improvement actions.
* Stay up to date on industry trends, market shifts, and technology developments to provide strategic insight.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and manage account documentation.
* Support resolution of critical invoicing issues and work closely with Finance on receivables.
* Identify additional business opportunities within portfolio and beyond.
Qualifications
* Deep understanding of 4PL operations and technology solutions.
* 10+ years' experience in 3PL/4PL key account management, growing and retaining strategic accounts.
* Strong ability to create value for clients while balancing commercial objectives.
* Proven relationship‑building and influencing skills at senior levels.
* Organised, structured, results‑driven with excellent project management abilities.
* Exceptional communication skills – clear, confident and professional.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support team success.
Package & Benefits
* £60,000 salary
* Hybrid working: 3 days WFH
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
