** NEW ROLE – Business Analyst – Newly formed Change team **
Location: London | Department: Business Change & Transformation
A leading Insurer in the Lloyds Insurance Market is expanding its Change team due to significant business growth and an increasing number of critical projects. This is a newly created Business Analyst (BA) position, offering the opportunity to shape the BA capability within the function.
Our client is currently specialising in niche insurance products, innovative risk solutions, and underwriting services. They operate across multiple markets, but their main areas are London Market Insurance, Insurance technology, professional indemnity, political risk, and other specialty lines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the second BA hire, helping to define and build the BA framework and best practices.
* Lead and support strategic and business-driven projects – this is not an IT/systems BA role.
* Work independently, engaging with various business functions and stakeholders.
* Drive business analysis activities, including gathering requirements, identifying opportunities, and supporting change initiatives across this stakeholders insurance value chain.
* Apply a pragmatic and flexible approach to solving diverse business challenges (process improvements, regulatory change, efficiency gains, etc.).
What You'll Need:
* Strong business-facing experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Versatile background, able to work across multiple business functions and project types.
* Proven ability to manage business change projects end-to-end, preferably in regulated or complex environments like insurance or financial services.
* A self-starter mindset, capable of autonomously driving initiatives.
