Job title: Senior Radiation Physicist

What you'll be doing:

* Conducting radiological safety assessments
* Assessing radiation damage risk to electronics
* Developing and deploying radiation detection systems
* Completing the systems engineering design of the secondary shielding system
* Running and analysing point kernel and monte-carlo calculations
* Providing technical advice on impact of changes and defects across the whole boat
* Developing ALARP justifications in support of design decisions

Your skills and experiences:

1. Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Nuclear Science, or a related field
2. Demonstrable knowledge/experience of radiation physics, nuclear engineering, nuclear safety or similar
3. Knowledge/experience of Radiological safety assessments, ALARP justifications or similar
4. Knowledge/experience of radiation transport methods
