Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated KS4 SEN Teacher to work within a specialist SEN school. You will be supporting students aged 14-16 with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and a range of additional needs, helping them prepare for adulthood in a structured, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to KS4 students with SEN
* Adapt the curriculum to meet a range of learning needs, including Autism and moderate to severe learning difficulties
* Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets
* Support students' communication, social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Prepare pupils for adulthood, including functional skills, independence, and employability skills
* Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes engagement and well-being
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider school staff to support holistic development
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with KS3/KS4 students with SEN, particularly Autism and Learning Disabilities
* Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient, and adaptable approach
* Understanding of EHCPs and SEN best practices within a specialist setting
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Legal right to work in the UK
