An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Administrator to join our friendly and supportive IT Technology Department.
This role will be responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the Council’s Digital Platform and other related systems including but not limited to Salesforce, Netcall Liberty Create and Microsoft Dynamics CRM by overseeing the configuration and administration of these systems and associated reporting tools, and their underlying technology.
Main Responsibilities:
Provision of 2nd and 3rd line support service including requests, incidents, problems and changes in accordance with service level agreements. Ensure support provided meets all defined service level agreements whilst resources are utilised effectively.
Successful implement patches and upgrades of the systems, as and when required by the supplier/service, including testing of the patches or upgrades from a system admin perspective, ensuring disruption to service users.
Develop system standards and procedures covering technical and business processes. Provide measurement and benchmarking statistics which support a process of quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience, hold relevant systems-specific training certification and be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of supporting applications in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of working with complex Digital Platforms and other related solutions in a business-critical application support role, including a thorough understanding of the change management issues associated with the maintenance, development and upgrading of these systems
Experience of managing an ICT system upgrade or implementation project and the ability to effectively project manage the delivery of time limited projects.
The ability to interpret the requirements of end users, business analysts and suppliers and be able to effectively communicate technical aspects to non-technical audiences, and in turn translate non-technical requests into technical specifications and work packages.
