In this role, you will oversee a varied portfolio of commercial projects, including fit-outs, refurbishments, and reactive maintenance works. As a key member of a collaborative and supportive commercial team, you'll be involved in all aspects of the commercial function, from cost control and budgeting to subcontractor management and procurement. The position offers a flexible hybrid working model, complemented by regular site visits to ensure project delivery aligns with commercial goals and client expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Quantity Surveying, with proven experience in fit-out, refurbishment, or reactive maintenance projects. You will be a proactive self-starter, driven by a desire to learn, grow, and advance your career within a dynamic and supportive organisation.

The Role:
1. Provide contractual advice to the business and project team
2. Cost planning, budget estimating, and monitoring actual costs against the budget
3. Effectively communicate with PM, site-based teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered to requirements
4. Assist other departments as and when required
5. Office based in Hemel Hempstead, with travel to site & work from home available after 3 months
The Person:
6. Quantity Surveyor with experience in commercial construction projects - Fit Out, Refurbishment, Reactive Maintenance
7. Self-motivated and looking to progress your career
8. Full UK Driving License
