As a Warehouse Senior Operative you will play a crucial role in handling equipment for our marketing and events company. Your responsibilities will include proficiently operating Counterbalance & Reach forklifts, managing workflow, supervising temporary agency staff, coordinating dispatch and receipt of goods, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Proficient operation of Counterbalance & Reach forklifts; assessment required prior to appointment. Utilize Microsoft Office and data entry software for efficient communication and record-keeping. Manage workflow and identify staffing requirements during busy periods. Anticipate and solve problems, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Handle shipping and receiving of merchandise, maintaining organizational standards. Supervise temporary agency staff and oversee their daily workload and activities. Track and coordinate dispatch, receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials. Order supplies, maintain inventory levels, and manage relationships with suppliers. Maintain records, report relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation. Perform daily/weekly inspections of warehouse plant & equipment, reporting defects/faults.
