About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant with a strong background in recruiting personnel across all disciplines required to support the construction of utility-scale solar farms.
The successful candidate will come from a fast-paced project environment and have a proven track record of delivering high volumes of skilled staff to time-critical construction projects. This role requires someone who understands the urgency, commercial pressures, and mobilisation challenges associated with large-scale solar builds.
You will be responsible for building and deploying site teams that can scale rapidly in line with programme demands, ensuring labour supply never impacts project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple live and upcoming solar projects, sourcing and placing personnel across all key construction disciplines. This includes, but is not limited to:

Electrical Managers and Electricians

Mechanical Supervisors and Installers
*
Site Managers
*
QA/QC Personnel
*
HSE Managers and Advisors

Site Engineers

Labour and skilled operatives
You will be expected to build and maintain talent pipelines, proactively headhunt experienced solar professionals, and mobilise teams in line with strict programme deadlines.
A key part of the role is the ability to upscale workforce numbers quickly on large solar farms, sometimes within tight timeframes, while maintaining quality, compliance, and cost control.
You will work closely with operational and commercial teams to forecast labour requirements, respond to changes in programme demands, and ensure seamless mobilisation of staff across multiple UK sites.
Required Experience

Proven experience recruiting within renewable energy, ideally utility-scale solar construction

Demonstrable track record of delivering staff to time-sensitive infrastructure or construction projects
*
Experience scaling workforce numbers rapidly for large project builds

Strong understanding of the disciplines involved in solar farm construction

Confident managing high-volume recruitment without compromising candidate quality

Commercial awareness and ability to operate in a delivery-focused environment
