About our Nursery
Busy Bees Reading Holme Park, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 56 children and offers a nurturing environment that supports early childhood development. We enhance learning experiences with visits from the local library, which contributes to our storytime and song group activities. Conveniently located near a local bus route on the main road, our nursery is just a 15-minute walk from the town centres of Reading, Woodley, and Twyford. We also provide free parking for staff, ensuring easy access for families during drop-offs and collections.

Role Responsibilities
What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:
* Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
* Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Required Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
* Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
* Skills: Good communication, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
