My client, based in Halifax and supporting a leading sister company in the Lake District, is seeking ahands-on Fabrication Managerto lead their skilled team (of 6) and uphold their renowned high standards of workmanship.
This is a senior leadership role where youll beequally hands-on on the shop floor and strategic behind the scenes, driving efficiency, quality, and team performance.
What Youll Do
1. Lead and manage all day-to-day operations of the fabrication department
2. Plan, schedule, and oversee production to meet deadlines and customer expectations
3. Supervise the full fabrication process, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency
4. Motivate and develop a team of skilled fabricators
5. Monitor workflow and implement continuous improvement initiatives
6. Conduct performance reviews and support staff training
