Biomedical Scientist Cellular Pathology/Histology role at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
Cellular Pathology is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and conscientious team member who can work independently and as part of a team to provide an efficient, effective, and comprehensive service in the cellular pathology department.
Responsibilities
* HCPC registered and part of the Cellular Pathology management team, assisting Senior BMSs and Lead BMS.
* Participation in the junior rota covering all areas of laboratory processes, maintenance and monitoring.
* Produce histological stained sections of surgical and post-mortem tissues for diagnostic use by the consultant pathologist.
* Ensure high-quality work with patients’ needs paramount.
Qualifications and Experience
* Current HCPC registration.
* IBMS registration portfolio completed.
* Experience in a histology laboratory.
