We are currently recruiting for an experienced QC Inspector to join a busy automotive operation in Thurleigh. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced workshop and bodyshop environment, ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before progressing through the next stage of the process.
The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and experience identifying and recording vehicle damage accurately.
The Role:
As a QC Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out detailed vehicle inspections within agreed timeframes
2. Identifying and recording bodywork and cosmetic damage
3. Using handheld tablets and systems to log vehicle condition reports
4. Ensuring estimates and inspection records are completed accurately
5. Adding and identifying parts required for repairs using internal systems
6. Supporting workshop and bodyshop teams to maintain vehicle quality standards
7. Following all health & safety procedures and site processes
8. Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
The Person:
9. Previous experience in vehicle inspection, QC, or a similar automotive role
10. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
11. Confident using handheld devices or tablet-based systems
12. Able to work independently and as part of a team
13. Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
14. Professional communication skills
15. Awareness of workshop health & safety procedures
16. Full UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points for minor offences)
