SEND HLTA Special school September start 8:30am - 3:30pm Full-time ideally I'm working on behalf of a fantastic special school based in the Radstock area that are looking for an HLTA to join the team from September. In an ideal world the school would like someone full-time but they are willing to accept applications from strong part-time candidates. The school look after students aged 4-16 with a range of special needs & disabilities (SLD, MLD, PMLD, ASD, SEMH & Complex Needs). They're such a lovely team that are incredibly supportive of new staff members joining the team. The role The role of HLTA is incredibly varied, you are essentially the schools' all rounder! You will be providing support in various way; supporting classes as a TA, leading pre-planned lessons when cover is required and generally providing cover wherever necessary! Due to the complex needs of the students it is imperative that you have worked with SEN in a school setting (whether this is mainstream or special school environment). You must feel confident in leading classes and be naturally adaptable. Working with Long-term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
