The Role at a Glance

* Job Title: Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant

* Location: Cambridge

* Salary: £450 – £500 per week (depending on experience & qualifications)

* Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday–Friday (term time only)

What You’ll Do

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be the extra spark in the classroom:

* Support the class teacher in delivering exciting and engaging lessons.

* Help pupils build confidence in literacy, numeracy, and wider subjects.

* Encourage independence and self-belief in every child.

* Track pupil progress and share feedback with the teacher.

* Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

* Ideally, a Level 1, 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (not essential).

* Previous experience working with children (primary school experience preferred).

* A strong understanding of the National Curriculum—or the motivation to learn quickly.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting children with a variety of needs.

* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

* Flexibility to travel between schools when needed.
