Are you a newly qualified Accountant looking for progression into an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager position?
We are working with an Accountancy firm based in London who have an opportunity within their growing corporate department.
Your role as a job Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager:
* This will be a split of 60% audit and 40% accounts.
* You will act as the main point of contact with the client throughout the assignment, responding to their needs and managing their expectations.
* Working on the planning and project management of each assignment.
* Oversee and monitor the progress of assignments to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner, on budget and in accordance with client expectations.
* Review the work in progress, comparison to budget and preparing invoice for approval.
* You will also participate in the recruitment and selection process of new team members.
What you'll need to succeed:
* Newly qualified ACCA or ACA Accountant.
* Ability to apply audit standards through practical application.
* Knowledge of UK GAAP.
* Practical knowledge of the preparation of group accounts.
* Knowledge of IFRS would be useful but not essential.
* A particular interest or specialism in a specific sector would be beneficial.
