We are looking for a motivated and compassionate registered healthcare professional to join our Immunisation Team delivering the national vaccination programme across Aberdeen City.
As An Immunisation Nurse, You Will
Prepare and administer vaccines safely in line with PGDs, protocols, and national standards. Provide clear information, reassurance, and support to patients and carers. Recognise and respond appropriately to adverse reactions. Maintain accurate clinical records and support the safe running of vaccination clinics. Work flexibly across a range of settings, including pre-school clinics, community clinics, schools, housebound visits, and care homes. Participate in vaccination education and health promotion. If this post operates within Aberdeen City Low Emission Zone, you will be responsible for all costs associated with entering.
You Should Be
A registered nurse, midwife, or allied health professional with current NMC/HCPC registration. Confident in working independently within scope of practice and as part of a wider team. Committed to high standards of clinical care, infection prevention, and patient safety. In possession of a full driving licence and able to travel within Aberdeen City as required. Able to work Monday to Saturday, usually a 7.5‑hour shift between the hours of 08:00–17:00, depending on service need.
