About the Role
SAMH Fife Community Services are recruiting for a Team Leader role to support the growth & development of the 4 community services. SAMH Fife community services provide a range of mental health and social care support to individuals across 4 diverse services comprising of Going Forth/Evergreen/SAMH/CMHT Peer
The Team Leader will work with a team of SAMH community support practitioners / peer practitioners /horticultural support practitioners who play an important role in supporting people who use our services to develop skills to better manage their mental health and live independently, upholding their rights to privacy, dignity and personal choice.
The Team Leader will work in partnership with the service manager and senior service manager to maximise efficiency across the staff team and deliver high quality support which meet KPIs.
What we are looking for

You will be an organised and approachable, able to work autonomously and take initiative to deliver a high-quality service for those we support. A natural leader, you will ideally have experience of successfully managing or coordinating teams and be able to develop supportive relationships with their team and positive relationships with partners.
There is a high volume of referrals and service users in this service, so we are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to ensure data quality and support the service manager with resource planning and reporting.
Knowledge and experience in supporting people with mental health problems or distress is essential, as is experience working with adults with a wide range of support needs.
Whilst the team leader hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm there is an expectation the team leader may have to when necessary provide essential cover out with those hours to ensure service delivery. Team leader will also participate in the regional out of hours on-call rota.
