The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs, and restaurants across the UK with whole, prepared, or cooked food. Our group includes Absolute Taste, a leading event catering company, Absolute Taste Inflight (our private jet catering business), along with two farm shops, a pub, and more.
As our business expands rapidly, we are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team. We now have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Planner to become an essential part of our operations.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ensure the correct product and stock quantities are available at pick time for all depot customers while minimizing waste nationwide.
* Forecast demand using sales history, stock impacts, and input from other departments, and translate these into orders for suppliers.
* Manage stock movement across the network through sales and purchase orders using Freshware.
* Confirm and manage supplier deliveries through direct communication and follow up on discrepancies.
* Regularly liaise with account managers regarding menu changes, seasonal impacts, and customer requirements.
* Assist in informing the business of volume changes or fluctuations affecting availability and profitability.
* Follow the recovery process for rejections that meet supply chain expectations at a cost-effective price.
* Work collaboratively in a team environment where all support each other with departmental workloads.
* Keep your line manager updated on opportunities or threats impacting the business or operations through formal and informal communication.
* Provide ongoing intelligence, data, and information to other departments for informed decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with applicable legislation (H&S, Hygiene, BRC, etc.) and report violations to your line manager.
* Maintain knowledge of The Menu Partners policies and regulations.
* Engage in specific projects or activities as directed by your line manager or TMP Group.
