New Role - Graduate Project Engineer Location: Dyce Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 16:00pm (37.5 hours per week) In this role, you will be responsible for the management of various projects, coordinating technical and engineering services, planning, administrative duties, and quality control throughout all phases of the assigned projects. Job Description/Duties: Proactively manage all assigned projects, ensuring efficient and effective execution of project management responsibilities. Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the sales team to identify business opportunities and contribute to the preparation of tenders, bids, and quotations. Oversee both the commercial and technical elements of assigned projects to ensure alignment with client and company expectations. Utilise internal systems to forecast, track, and report on project performance and milestones. Identify potential risks or challenges in new and ongoing projects, collaborating with Operations and Engineering teams to design and implement practical, effective solutions. Support workshop operations in coordination with the operations and services teams. Maintain and update project records, databases, and reporting tools in accordance with the company's accredited Quality Management System (QMS). Attend, lead, and contribute to client meetings, representing the company on current, upcoming, and prospective project scopes. Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive work packs for each project, including technical drawings, work orders, BOMs, ITPs, test procedures, work instructions, and other relevant documentation. Monitor and coordinate project-related expenditures in close liaison with the procurement team. Mobilise for onshore and, when necessary, offshore assignments-domestically and internationally-in both operational and supervisory capacities to support seamless project delivery. Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as required, provided they are within the scope of safe training, instruction, and business needs. Requirements: Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience. Proven experience in project engineering, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and delivery. Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward responsibility and continuous professional development. Technical knowledge Proficient in standard business software; CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Autodesk Inventor.
