What you'll be doing:
Assisting the Maintenance Engineer with proactive and reactive maintenance tasks to deliver facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
Hands on proactive and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of equipment and mobile plant in line with risk assessments and method statements. Maintain regular communication with the operational team throughout
Carry out PPM's and provide feedback
Maintain up to date service records of equipment on site and maintenance log books
Follow site safety rules by wearing the correct PPE for each task at all times
Monitor and supervise contractors
Support health and safety monitoring and performance to include safety inspections, plant inspections and attend health and safety meetings
Maintain plant performance by adjusting machinery and equipment settings
Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to VMR and industry regulations
Reporting any health, safety and environmental close calls, accidents or incidents in AVA
Support the development and review of Veolia maintenance procedures, safe working practices and risk assessments
Escorting contractors
Monitoring the availability of parts and co-ordinate with the technical administrator
Work closely with the operations team and keep the maintenance engineer up to date with conflicts, delays and requirements for rescheduling
What we're looking for:
Ability to pass DBS check is essential
Strong fabric maintenance background
Experienced using PDAs and computer Aided Facility Management Systems
Manual Handling trained
Confident decision maker
Able to work within and promote Health & Safety practices
