In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for leading Commis Chefs in your specialty section while executing outstanding cooking techniques. You'll transform fresh, local ingredients into memorable dishes, working closely with our experienced kitchen team.
Your Day-to-Day as a Chef de Partie:
* Supervise and mentor Commis Chefs in your kitchen section
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes with creativity and precision
* Execute recipes and cooking techniques with consistent excellence
* Ensure smooth operations within your designated kitchen section
* Maintain impeccable standards of food preparation and kitchen hygiene
* Assist in menu development and recipe creation
* Manage section-specific mise en place and ingredient preparation
* Monitor and control portion sizes and ingredient usage
* Promptly report any equipment issues or supply shortages
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment
What We're Looking for:
* 1-2 years of experience in professional kitchen roles
* Strong cooking skills and technique
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills for team leadership
* Basic understanding of menu planning and recipe development
* Proven ability to guide and support junior kitchen staff
* Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
