To £90,000 plus car allowance plus package plus pension

You will have responsibility for:
* providing strategic and technical leadership across engineering portfolio, ensuring the successful delivery of large and complex capital projects within the UK power and energy infrastructure sector.
* The role is responsible for engineering governance, technical assurance, safety in design, resource management, and stakeholder engagement across all projects.
* Ensure that appropriate and competent resources to design projects.
* Identify, manage, and mitigate engineering, quality, and delivery risk
* Provide technical leadership and governance, ensuring project designs comply with Engineering Works Information (EWI), applicable standards, and client requirements.
* Schedule and chair design reviews, design assurance activities, and Design Authority Reviews
* Lead project coordination activities, including chairing meetings with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders (including remote design office).
* Organise and oversee technical workshops and safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP and HAZCON
