Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customers over tasks and creating a great shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently at the till, and actively promote add‑ons by engaging with customers.
- Responsibly and safely handle and accept deliveries to the store, maintaining stockroom areas.
- Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards.
- Work in designated Tesco space as required.
Working Hours & Schedule
The stores are open 7 days a week. On a 12‑hour contract you will typically work 4‑hour shifts over 3 days. Depending on the store's trading hours, you may need a flexible approach and the ability to work shifts at any time of day, including outside normal trading hours and during the Christmas period.

As a Sales Assistant, you should be confident and approachable, hardworking and ambitious, and caring and passionate. This role involves engaging with customers, managing tills, handling deliveries, merchandising, and supporting the store's day‑to‑day operations.
