Our Client, a long established tax and accountancy firm,, who provide a range of tax, business advisory and compliance services to clients on a global basis, seek to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join their growing tax team. Ideal Person: With the tax expertise and guidance of their senior team, our Client can ensure you progress to the next level of your tax career. You will be an enthusiastic individual, keen to develop your tax career ideally with a minimum of 5 years current UK personal tax experience. ATT qualified or studying towards ATT would be an advantage but our Client would certainly not exclude those QBE. You will have good IT systems experience and a quality client focus and excellent team working skills. Duties Your main duties will relate to the preparation of UK tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and business owners. Assisting with advisory and tax planning work for clients with a focus on recent and proposed changes to tax legislation. Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff will also be required and acting as a mentor and good role model to more junior team members. The role will involve working closely with the firm’s principles and Senior Tax Manager. You will have a portfolio of clients where you will be encouraged to build strong professional relationships with clients, again working closely with the firm’s principles where required. In the role you will be given training and on-going support from your colleagues but will be expected to take responsibility for your own workload and ensuring that you are prioritising your work correctly, so jobs are completed on time.
