About The Role
West Ham United Women’s Football Club is offering an exciting placement opportunity for a Physical Performance Scientist to support both the Women’s 1st Team and Academy for the 2026/27 season. This role provides hands‑on experience in collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support player development and performance. You will work closely with Physical Development Coaches, Nutritionists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists to help solve performance challenges using data‑informed approaches.
You will also contribute to player monitoring, testing, and the development of performance insights across the pathway, with opportunities to translate findings into actionable strategies through research, data visualisation and presentations.
Requirements
* Must form part of a degree programme ending after January 2027.
* Ability to commit to the full 2026/27 season.
* Enhanced DBS check with Child’s Barred List required.
* Ability to travel between multiple Club venues.
