About Zendbox Zendbox.io is a fast-growing, tech-led eCommerce fulfilment and distribution business based near Maidstone in Kent. We help ambitious brands scale by delivering smart, reliable warehousing and logistics solutions - and we’re now looking for an experienced HR Manager to support our next stage of growth. Role Overview The Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory within the Zendbox fulfilment environment. The role ensures stock integrity, supports efficient omni-channel order processing, and works closely with warehouse, client services, and operations teams to meet Zendbox service levels and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: · Maintain accurate stock records within Zendbox systems and associated platforms · Monitor inventory levels to support same-day dispatch across omni-channel orders and agreed SLAs · Conduct daily cycle counts and scheduled stock audits · Investigate, report, and resolve stock discrepancies promptly · Manage goods-in processes including booking, validation, and put-away · Oversee internal stock movements across Zendbox locations and sales channels · Process returns, quarantined stock, and quality checks in line with Zendbox procedures · Communicate stock issues proactively to Zendbox client services and operations teams · Identify slow-moving, aged, or obsolete stock and escalate appropriately · Support peak trading periods and promotional activity across all channels · Ensure compliance with Zendbox SOPs, client requirements, and H&S standards · Produce regular inventory reports for internal stakeholders and Zendbox clients Skills & Experience Essential Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret inventory data Understanding of multi-client, multi-channel stock management and SKU control Excellent attention to detail within a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Desirable Experience in stock control within omni-channel retail or fulfilment operations Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Key Competencies Highly organised with a methodical approach Ability to prioritise workload in a dynamic environment Strong problem-solving skills Customer-focused with awareness of service impact Team collaboration and accountability Progression This role is designed to grow with you.
