We are looking to recruit an experienced Pig Stockperson for an outdoor pig farm in Norfolk, NR11.
The pig farmer is looking for someone with a proven track record, with an ambition to grow with the business and take on responsibility, especially on the farrowing side.
The unit is a high-welfare outdoor 1000-sow breeding unit that produces weaned piglets to be finished off-site. The farm is located in a picturesque location with great working conditions.
The ideal candidate will be required to:
* Maintain the current high standards and performance
* Have a good work ethic and the ability to cope well under pressure
* Be reliable, honest and a good time-keeper
* Have high welfare standards
* Have a passion for the pig industry
Salary guide: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Accommodation is not available, so candidates must be able to commute to the NR11 area.
