Overview
Support customers with mental health and/or complex needs, with daily living tasks and achieving goals in support plans.
Assist with meals, shopping, budgeting, tenancy and moving towards independent living.
Complete risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.

Responsibilities

* Assist with meals, shopping, budgeting, tenancy, and progression toward independent living.
* Complete risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews.
* Engage in meaningful conversations, build relationships, and work as part of a team.
* Respect each customer as an individual and adapt approach accordingly.

Job Details
* Occasionally our customers' needs mean your start and finish times may change. When we ask you to be flexible, we will always try to reciprocate.
* Confident using technology for plans, training, and collaboration.
* You'll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
* Working a rolling rota, working 12 hour shifts with 1 hour break.
Location and Service Information
Astell House, Gateshead, Female only service. We can't sponsor you due to certificate limits. We review this regularly.
As our Support Worker, you'll walk alongside women and families fleeing domestic abuse, many with complex needs, helping them build skills and confidence to live independently in the community. You'll work with a team that cares and contributes to meaningful outcomes for customers.
