About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will be involved in providing care across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are people with their own stories, and joining us offers a chance to make a meaningful difference.
Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your tasks may include assisting residents with mobility, end-of-life care, and communicating with families, all with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities and administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to pursue Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge is preferred. Most importantly, you should have positive energy, good communication skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively, always demonstrating kindness and consideration.
