We’re delighted to announce a great opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join our Finance Team.
This position will involve contributions to general ledger journal entries, month-end close reconciliations, variance analysis, cash management transactions, monthly reporting, and ownership of the Fixed Asset Ledger. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and develop within the role while supporting the team.
We are seeking someone who has started their career in accounting and finance and is looking to develop their skills while studying towards becoming a fully qualified accountant.
Our ideal candidate will be at the early stages of studying for a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). They should have recent experience in a finance or accounting setting and be committed to completing their studies. Good IT skills are essential, including Excel (Pivot Tables and Lookups) and familiarity with accounting software (such as SAP, SAGE, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Knowledge of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations is required.
