Description Collections Audit Assistant | 7916 | Fixed Term Contract for 2 years | 22.5 hours per week | £25,584 to £27,269 per annum (Scale E) | The Shirehall, Norwich Norfolk Museums Service is looking for a Collections Audit Assistant to join the Collections Management team to support the delivery of capital investment in museum storage infrastructure. Helping to ensure it’s potential to improve collections care, security and ensure storage capacity is maximised. The successful candidate will support the physical re-organisation of storage spaces including the movement and re-packing of museum collections and will be able to demonstrate experience of collections care skills such as object handling. In addition, the candidate will help deliver improvements to collections information and will have a basic understanding of museum documentation and experience using Collections Management Systems. To be successful for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate proficiency in a range of skills and abilities as per the job description below.
