Description
Priory Hospital Bristolis looking to recruit a CBT Therapist to join the Private Outpatient therapy service on site. This role is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week. The salary is up to £50,182 FTE.
Our Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol, with free on-site parking. We offer 77 beds over seven wards, providing a wide range of services, including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehab and recovery. Our collaborative environment fosters opportunities to gain experience in various services.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
You will also;
* Provide CBT-based assessment, formulation and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
* Undertake and manage clinical assessment loads.
* Attend monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills and promote access to clinical excellence.
* Ensure high levels of clinical governance, including all documentation as required by the service.

What you'll bring to the role

You should hold a doctoral qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation or be working towards it, or be a registered health professional with BABCP accreditation. You must have assessed experience working as a qualified CBT therapist or experience delivering CBT treatment within a mental health setting. Additionally, you should be capable of delivering interventions to a wide range of clients.
