Location: Central London (near Edgware Road Tube), Office-based, part-time [no hybrid working it is office based]

Operating across two main trading companies, we offer a collaborative and fast-paced work environment. We are seeking a dedicated Finance Administrator/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team and support our financial operations.
Job Description: As a Finance Administrator/Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and contribute to the financial health of the company. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented and passionate about finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices and credit notes with accuracy and proper authorisation.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and process payment runs including commission payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records.
Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support the Head of Finance with various accounting tasks and projects.
Respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Cover for sales ledger person during holidays/ illness
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in a similar role (Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Payable, Finance Administrator).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Self-discipline and a focused work ethic.
REQUIRED:
1) ability to work legally in the UK
2) At least 5 years of a Relevant professional qualifications, such as AAT fully qualified or ACCA
3)Good written and spoken English
4) Experience: Minimum of 5 years' work experience in a similar role.
Salary: FULL TIME EQUIVALENT £45,000 per year+bonus so pro rata £27,000
