We are currently working with a leading University to recruit for an Interim Finance Business Partner. The role would suit a someone who has previous Business Partnering experience within Higher Education and who is available at short notice. Day to day duties: Support the efficient and effective delivery and presentation of management information Lead meetings to advise senior stakeholders on the financial position of their budgets and projects Assist in interpreting variances and agreeing follow-up measures where necessary Prepare annual budgets, projections and year-end forecasting Design and implement local reports to meet specific requirements Assist in the preparation of the final accounts and external returns Prepare and submit financial claims to funding bodies Assist with year-end audit process Provide training to both finance and non-finance members of staff Organise and deliver presentations as appropriate Assist in the training, instruction and coaching of team membersEssential criteria: CCAB part qualified as a minimum Proven ability to liaise effectively with staff at all management and directorate levels Good working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting issues and techniques Strong IT skills including excellent excel Experience working within the University sectorIf interested, please apply as soon as possible to be considered for this role
