Job Specification: Fire Door Carpenter
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum + Van & Fuel Card

About the Role: We are currently looking for a Fire Door Carpenter to join our client’s team, covering contracts across London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:
* Fire Door Installation: Install, maintain, and repair fire doors in commercial and residential properties, ensuring all work is carried out in line with fire safety regulations and standards.
* Compliance & Standards: Ensure all installations meet relevant fire safety standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
* Client Liaison: Liaise with clients on-site to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
* Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork for each project, including reports on work completed and any issues encountered.
* Travel: Cover contracts in London and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and safe travel to sites.
Skills & Experience:
* Essential:
o Level 2 Qualified Carpenter with experience in fire door installation.
o Relevant Passive Fire Accreditation (e.g., FIRAS or equivalent).
o Proven experience in fitting and maintaining fire doors.
o A good understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Must hold a valid UK driver’s license (no more than 6 penalty points).
* Desirable:
o Experience working on commercial and residential contracts.
o Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
