Black Box Tuition is an exciting, start-up company, motivated by boosting children's mental health, wellbeing, and confidence. We provide dynamic Musical Theatre & Drama afterschool clubs, centred around social skills, public speaking, stage confidence and most importantly… fun.
We also offer 1 : 1 vocal tuition in Primary Schools, for ages 4-11, supporting the national curriculum for music & arts.

Job Purpose
To provide 1 : 1 vocal tuition to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children (age 4 – 11) in blocks of 30-minute sessions in schools.
To provide fun, creative and engaging musical theatre classes to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children (age 4 – 11) as an afterschool club.
The aim of the sessions is to introduce students to the joys of performing and to build their confidence & social skills.
Main Tasks
1. Follow the provided lesson plans for the Musical Theatre after school club to a high standard.
2. Facilitate an end of term showcase for the students within school time.
3. Deliver high-quality individual vocal tuition sessions to students aged 4 – 11, facilitated by the school in school time. Prepare appropriate songs and tailor your sessions based on your students' ability.
4. Provide termly feedback to the individually tutored students via the provided reporting system.
5. Build student confidence by being an engaging and personable teacher.
Location
Classes will take place in schools within Leamington. They will be booked on a termly basis and hours agreed, in advance, with the appropriate teacher.
Your location will be discussed during the interview process – Schools will be allocated depending on your area. MUST BE NEAR LEAMINGTON.
Hours
This role is ideal for an individual who is looking for part time hours roughly between 3pm-4pm, weekdays, in term time. Actual hours offered will depend upon the needs of the business and the availability of the applicant.
During the interview process, preferred days of the week will be discussed and agreed upon.
There will also be potential to teach at Holiday Camps during the Summer & Easter.
Payment
Hourly rate - £22
All relevant training will be provided by Black Box Tuition.
Applicants will need to have a valid DBS, enrolled onto the update service. They will also need to have their own mode of transport.
