Quality Inspector ?? Droitwich £18 per hour Manufacturing / Engineering We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a global engineering and manufacturing business at an exciting time of growth and innovation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation operating across multiple international manufacturing facilities, supporting the delivery of high-quality engineered products within a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting detailed inspections, supporting quality assurance activities, and working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure products meet strict engineering and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T specifications Use a range of precision measuring equipment including Verniers, micrometres, gauges, CMMs, and FARO equipment Record and document inspection results accurately, raising non-conformances where required Support root cause investigations, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with production teams to resolve quality concerns in real-time Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and audit-ready reports Support internal and external audit activities in line with ISO standards Contribute towards improving inspection methods, processes, and overall product quality Ensure compliance with company health & safety and quality procedures at all times Requirements Previous experience within a Quality Inspection or Quality Assurance role within manufacturing or engineering environments Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Experience using precision inspection equipment and measuring tools Good understanding of ISO9001 standards (ISO14001 / ISO45001 advantageous) Experience supporting quality investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities Strong communication and documentation skills Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems Internal Auditor certification (ISO9001) desirable Experience within HVAC system s or controls systems beneficial but not essential What Were Looking For Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality professional who enjoys working within fast-paced manufacturing environments and takes pride in delivering high standards of quality and accuracy.
