Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Care Supervisor with a background in care to support our team of Care Professionals. The successful candidate will organize and prioritize their workload, lead a team, and serve as a point of support for our care professionals.
This is a full-time position, based on 37.5 hours per week, with a hybrid working pattern: part in our office in Worthing town centre and part in the community supporting our clients and care professionals.
Compensation
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.00 to £14.50, plus 45p per mile for travel and performance-related bonuses.
Key Duties Include:
* Providing excellent care to clients in their homes, including personal care, companionship, home help, and medication support.
* Completing support visits and care certificate observations with care professionals.
* Conducting daily audits on client and care professional notes, and reporting changes to management.
* Supporting new staff through regular 'well-being' checks.
* Promoting best practices and being a go-to support person for care professionals.
* Recognizing and celebrating care professionals' milestones and achievements.
Minimum Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
* At least one year of experience in domiciliary care.
* Completion of The Care Certificate.
