Strategic Bids & Proposals Manager for Experience-led Design Studio
£45,000-£50,000 p.a. + Benefits
12- month fixed-term contract, Full-time, Hybrid, Central London
A highly regarded design studio is seeking an experienced and proactive Bids Manager to join its collaborative studio team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, well-organised professional to take ownership of high-quality proposals and visually engaging submissions within a creative environment.
The role requires someone who can quickly take the reins, with a structured handover scheduled to begin in early March. The successful candidate will bring strong bid and proposal management experience, excellent communication skills, and ideally a background in graphics or visual presentation to support the delivery of compelling, design-focused submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and maintain high-quality marketing and bid materials, including project sheets, case studies, CVs, presentations, brochures and digital assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency and strong visual standards
Lead the design, artwork and formatting of client-facing documents and pitch materials, acting as a brand guardian and maintaining visual identity
Support digital marketing activity, including website content, social media, events and basic video or motion graphics
Manage image libraries, source imagery, oversee usage rights and maintain reusable assets to improve efficiency and consistency
Monitor bid portals and coordinate the production of bids, tenders, PQQs and competition submissions, ensuring compliance, quality and deadlines are met
About You
Proven experience managing bids or proposals within the built environment is imperative
Confident managing the full submission process from opportunity through to final delivery
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and technical teams to produce persuasive, visually engaging content
Strong copywriting and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail
A genuine interest in design-led work and high-quality visual presentation
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (or similar design software) is highly desirable
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is beneficial, though not essential
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment

Please note that candidates must be available to be confirmed by the end of February to support a structured handover period commencing between 4th and 11th March. While this role is initially offered as a fixed-term contract, there may be potential for a permanent opportunity later in the year.
