OVERVIEW:
: Manage a litigated multi:track claimant personal injury caseload from pre:action through to settlement or trial, ensuring CPR and Protocol compliance with minimal supervision.
: Take initial instructions, assess liability, causation and quantum, set case strategy, diarise key milestones, and manage procedural, evidential, limitation and costs risks.
: Draft and settle core litigation documents, including statements of case, schedules of loss, witness statements, applications, directions, and instructions to counsel and experts.
: Instruct and manage medical and non:medical experts, conduct disclosure, prepare trial:ready (including electronic) bundles, and attend CMCs, PTRs and interlocutory hearings, undertaking routine advocacy where appropriate.
: Drive settlement strategy through Part 36 offers, ADR and negotiations, pursue interim payments, and manage rehabilitation in line with relevant industry guidance.
: Hybrid working arrangements: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
